Pick an artist whose work you like and one who listens. For example, a piece could be exquisite but may look terrible with your color scheme or your decorating style. Communicate. A really good artist with lots of information about your individual taste will get it right. It helps to provide a photograph of the room and the wall on which the piece will hang. This also helps to determine the appropriate size. If you have specific colors you wish to enhance, provide color samples and fabric swatches, etc. Magazine clippings are great. Photos are the most helpful. I've never had a dissatisfied client.
Is it expensive?
If you have a residence, business, favorite vacation spot, or simply colors and/or subject matter that you can't find in a gallery or in print, get exactly what you want.
How do I know what I'm getting?
Only if you hire a high priced artist to do the work.

How long does it take?
custom sizes are also available. Need a 6" x 20" piece? I can do that. To calculate the cost, add two sides together (6 + 20 = 26). There are 26 united inches. I work at $20.00 per united inch, so multiply 26 x 20. The cost is $520.00
